Every time a girl opens the cover of a teen-focused magazine, turns on the TV
or walks in to a cinema, she is bombarded with images of models and celebrities
with their perfect bodies, perfect teeth and so-called "perfect" lives. These
images push young girls towards anorexia or other eating disorders to help them
achieve these perfect body images. But instead, all that they are setting
themselves up for is disappointment when they do not automatically start
becoming popular. I feel that young celebrities need to live up to the
admiration of their admirers and start acting like normal teenagers. In my
opinion, the best thing that a young teen celebrity could do is to appear in
public in jeans and a t-shirt, just like many people wear everyday.

the pressure.

The idea that opinion's of others and social pressure causes anorexia and eating disorders has been considered as a possible cause for some time. Many western cultures make out that being skinny is an ideal body image. Some people think Thinness and low body weight is linked with beauty and success and overweight or obese individuals are linked with ugliness, a lack of success, and said to have lack of self-control.Teenagers are especially vulnerable to social and peer pressure, which may explain why peak rates of anorexia happens in the teen years. The majority of people exposed to the social message of the "ideal body" do not develop anorexia nervosa although eighty percent of women are unsatisfied with their body image become anorexic. It seems that social pressure by friends and family and people "mocking" other peoples bodies may be a trigger for eating disorders.
Anorexias image.
Eating disorders are so common in the US that 1 or 2 out of every 100 students will struggle with one. Each year, thousands of teens develop eating disorders, or problems with weight, eating, or body image, one of the main causes may be because of how the media puts up an image of "skinny", "gorgeous" girls, which makes some girls feel self concious and unhappy with how they look and their weight this creates them to feel they are not beautiful.
this is late model Isabelle Caro, to some girls she is their "thinspiration".
